Climate finance proposals require more than strong intentions. Funders need a credible climate rationale, financial model, feasibility evidence, implementation structure, safeguards approach, monitoring framework and value-for-money case. Resources Future helps companies prepare the materials needed to move from initial interest to serious funder review.
Our Value Proposition
Concept notes, proposal narratives, annexes and supporting materials built around fund requirements.
Integrated modelling of project economics, concessionality need and climate outcomes.
Clearer evidence, stronger theory of change and reduced review friction.
Our Challenge
A good project can be weakened by a poor proposal. Climate funds and DFIs do not assess projects only on commercial logic. They need to understand the baseline, climate problem, intervention design, incremental cost, emissions or resilience impact, implementation capacity, safeguards, gender and social dimensions, monitoring plan and financing structure.
For corporate teams, this documentation burden can be difficult to manage alongside normal business operations. The result is often a proposal that is technically promising but not investment-ready.
How We Help
Resources Future works with client teams to translate project information into funder-ready documentation. We develop the climate rationale, financial model, impact estimates, implementation plan, evidence register, risk analysis and proposal narrative. Where needed, we coordinate inputs from engineering, finance, ESG, legal, operations and external technical experts.
Our role is to make the proposal easier for funders to assess: clear, evidence-backed, commercially grounded and aligned with the relevant funding window.
